Level 1 Unit: British Sign Language
Description
The content of this course is designed to provide learners with the fundamentals of BSL and the confidence to use it in a range of settings. Learners will also develop an understanding and awareness around deaf culture. Learners are required to attend a minimum of 6 of 7 of the sessions to achieve the award. What will be covered? - Greetings - Fingerspelling the alphabet - Question signs - Exchange of personal information and details - Numbers- Including age, money and time - Locations - living and working - Colours - Clothing - Appearances
